Plus any new system needs a whole new mindset, one based on shared humanity, learning life skills and then the add-ons the kids will need for understanding how the world works and also any profession or work they want to undertake - but with plenty of time for supported self directed learning to find out what makes their eyes light up with enthusiasm. you are right that lots of folks are waiting to be rescued - but even more have no idea that there is even a problem. I suspect that will become apparent in the not-too-distant. And when that happens there will be a LOT of very upset, angry and brokenhearted people, who will need those of us who won't be surprised by it all, not to react badly to them unless our safety is threatened. We will need to find ways to be there for each other and help pick up the pieces, so we can move forward with hope instead of fear and anger - and create something worth being part of. And it likely will involve pretty much everything related to infrastructure including medical care.

There a lot of educated and retired persons who would be interested, willing and dedicated to it as long as they would be offered to do so.

The brain is not a furniture with as many drawers as there are fields of knowledge and apprenticeship.

Practical example:
Teach mathematics, physic, finance, marketing, design, planning and respect of calendar, architecture, budget limits in one course with one project ?
Build a backyard shed ,with a defined budget ( that you have borrow ), respecting city
regulations, respect of building code, respect of delay, design to fit desired appearance, and that it complies with the very common needs usually met and , at the end, the shed had to be sold to reimburse all costs and, if possible, make some profit.

Regaining control of governments is redundant. And it needs to evolve into a community supported effort because, as I am sure you know, most parents would be hopeless at teaching their kids. Many of them will likely also need upskilling and that would need to be part of the early years of any new community system - and there is a lot every generation can bring to this in terms of living skills, people skills and knowledge too... Plus any new system needs a whole new mindset, one based on shared humanity, learning life skills and then the add-ons the kids will need for understanding how the world works and also any profession or work they want to undertake - but with plenty of time for supported self directed learning to find out what makes their eyes light up with enthusiasm. you are right that lots of folks are waiting to be rescued - but even more have no idea that there is even a problem. I suspect that will become apparent in the not-too-distant. And when that happens there will be a LOT of very upset, angry and brokenhearted people, who will need those of us who won't be surprised by it all, not to react badly to them unless our safety is threatened. We will need to find ways to be there for each other and help pick up the pieces, so we can move forward with hope instead of fear and anger - and create something worth being part of. And it likely will involve pretty much everything related to infrastructure including medical care.

There a lot of educated and retired persons who would be interested, willing and dedicated to it as long as they would be offered to do so.
Old persons are not to be considered as a weight for the nation to be trashed as soon as possible but as an asset as they are the repository vault of endless experience and knowledge that have to be communicated to the young ones before they " leave" given that they will bring all of those uneditable notions with them.
Nations are full of those kinds of resources but have been driven to blindness about them by the one size first all dogmas on education.
And one last thing I want to emphasize about education is that the curriculum should be based on " integrated " teaching.
The brain is not a furniture with as many drawers as there are fields of knowledge and apprenticeship.
Thus, as long as the curriculum will be like : From 8 to 9 " language" shut this drawer and open the History drawer from 9 to 10 and so on all day long, days after days.
Practical example:
Teach mathematics, physic, finance, marketing, design, planning and respect of calendar, architecture, budget limits in one course with one project ?
Build a backyard shed ,with a defined budget ( that you have borrow ), respecting city
regulations, respect of building code, respect of delay, design to fit desired appearance, and that it complies with the very common needs usually met and , at the end, the shed had to be sold to reimburse all costs and, if possible, make some profit.
That also implies some leadership in the group as to decide who does what

For those matters who are at a more theoretical level, it could be based on a timeline respecting curriculum.

I apologize if I hurt you in any way, this was not my intent but, if you take time to think at all the petitions that have been signed and sent to authorities, could it be about C-19, Peace, Environment, ... whatever may have been the credentials of the signatories and you put in the balance to real consequences compared to hoped for ones, you should come to the conclusion that you can send a 53 footer semi full of petitions every day and the only consequence is that TPTB will equip itself with a more petitions guzzling shredder because TPTB DOES NOT GIVE A SHIT IF YOU, ME AND EVERYBODY ELSE UNLESS WE TAKE A COMPLETE YET PEACEFUL CONTROL OF THE SITUATION BY LAUNCHING A COMPLETE YET PEACEFUL CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE THAT WILL DEPRIVE IT OF HIS 2 MOTIVES WHICH ARE MONEY AND VOTES.
Thus, everyone may keep hoping for a miraculous awakening of TPTB but you have to be aware that eternity is a very long time span.
TPTB will not stop it's infernal deadly spiral unless WE stop it.
And we have not so much time to do so.
Thus, if you please, consider my option, cold blood, and think about very deeply and if you agree to it then prepare yourself and those who may share my proposal because, even though peaceful such a movement will not be tolerated by TPTB that will retaliate the usual way which is utmost and bloody violence by police and
special forces in the hope of a complete submission.
