Beautiful! Especially love the interfaith focus and lovely pics. And I appreciate the research citations that I can share. I happen to be on day 3 of a water fast which was preceded by a 5 day juice cleanse. Feeling peaceful and inspired. How wondrous is the body’s power and wisdom.

Dry fasting will kill you pretty quickly. Without water you die of thirst much faster than you die from starvation from a lack of food.

From what I've read, you are right. However if August Dunning (the author of The Phoenix Protocol) is correct then dry fasting is the only way to engage certain metabolic processes that won't turn on if you're ingesting water/fluids. Either way, safely experiment incrementally if fasting is on the docket in any capacity.

Autophagy like most medical science is a fraud. If fasting really repaired your cells you would never need to eat. But as everyone knows or should know excessive fasting causes malnutrition and eventually starvation. Your body needs a regular supply of nutrients to function correctly. Your immune system needs a continual supply of nutrients to prevent and fight infections.

Instead of fasting people need quality cleansing especially if they have an illness.
